WHAT: LA World Airports’ Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC), the governing body for Van Nuys Airport, is having their regularly scheduled meeting at LAX. A VNY Metroplex Status Update is on the agenda and provides another opportunity for residents to voice their concerns about aircraft over our communities. We have asked the BOAC to use Section 175 of the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Act to request that the FAA return departures to where they have been for decades.
